Using inert gas melting method. Under high temperature and inert gas environment, oxygen in the detected substance reacts with platinum carbon to generate CO, which reacts with copper oxide to become CO2. Then, 3cc of gas is taken through a quantitative standard chamber sampler, and the oxygen content is detected by a low drift thermal conductivity detector (TCD) optimized for quantitative gas. Other impurities are either separated by chromatography columns or removed by reagent adsorption.
